International Women's Day - #BreakTheBias
This episode of The Instructor Podcast sees a take over from Emma Cottington, for International Women's Day. Joined by Steph Davies and Deb Jordan here's some of the things we cover:
- Our experiences of being women in a male dominated industry
- How we got into the industry
- Our achievements since
- Deb's biker experience and wonderful work for the Blood Bikers charity
- Steph's expansion into a coaching business
- Emma's book The Learner Driver Logbook
We really enjoyed taking over the podcast for this episode, sharing our experiences and how we feel its evolved in the time we have been instructors. How we have overcome some criticism and competition but mostly how we feel no different for being women in this environment, we are supported, encouraged and flourish right where we are by everyone around us! The driver training industry really is a great place to be.
